I had this easy corn flour halwa recipe in to do list for a long time.Despite being a very simple recipe it took me so long long to make this simple corn flour halwa. Last week I tried this easy halwa with a small change to the standard recipe. I used raw cane sugar instead of white sugar.I have not added any food coloring in this recipe.
To make corn flour halwa recipe we need just 4 ingredients. Corn flour, sugar, ghee and cardamom powder. I have added badam and raisins for garnishing. This halwa requires just 4 tablespoons ghee. If you wish you can increase or decrease ghee too.

How to make corn flour halwa recipe with step by step photos.
Mix corn flour with 1 1/2 cups water well without lumps.
Mix sugar with 1 cup of water and bring to a rolling boil.
Add the corn flour mixture and keep stirring in medium flame.
The mixture will begin to thicken and turn glossy.
Add ghee in parts, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Once the mixture turns completely transparent and all the ghee is absorbed it will resemble jelly.
Now add nuts and cardamom powder. Mix well and remove from flame. You can set the halwa in a tray or serve as such.
