Instant rava paniyaram recipe, a very quick and easy snack as the name implies its instant!,it gets ready in less than 10 minutes. I actually whipped up the batter and kept the pan for heating and started to chop the veggies,by the time the batter was ready pan was also hot and we had these delicious paniyaram in less than 15 minutes :). Instant rava paniyaram recipe is very similar to my oats paniyaram recipe, only more easy. In this recipe, I have not even added tempering of mustard,if you wish you can add though. The only thin to keep in mind is,you need to cook this in medium flame for good 4-5 minutes as it takes a bit more time to get cooked unlike normal kuzhi paniyaram. This instant rava paiyaram recipe is an excellent after school snack, very filling, tasty and colorful. This is also a healthy finger food for toddlers, you can add more veggies if you like else you can leave out veggies too. This tastes delicious on its own when served with teas, however I had some green chutney in hand so I served with it. Do try out this instant rava paniyaram recipe and tell me, I would really appreciate a picture of your version,it would be a great motivation to me 🙂

can this be made without using the appe pan? What is the alternative?deep fry? Looks very tempting and I want to try but don’t have an appe pan

  2. Harini says

you can deep fry,but I would suggest you make very small pancakes like crepe in dosa tava, make thick pancakes and add oil along the edges and cook like dosa

I have the one from Prestige and it is non stick. If you are new to cooking I would recommend non stick,it is readily available in India, hope this helps
