Paneer kolhapuri recipe with step by step photos. A very delicious and spicy kolhapuri style paneer curry for roti, naan, kulcha, rice. When I made fresh kolhapuri masala powder at home, I made veg kolhapuri and this paneer kolhapuri recipe. Both of them turned out to be excellent. This paneer kolhapuri is a tasty addition to Indian paneer recipes in the lines of paneer lababdar, kadai paneer, paneer butter masala, paneer makhanwala recipes.
I have tasted this paneer kolhapuri from north Indians restaurants few times. I recreated this recipe based on what I tasted. Paneer kolhapuri was always served as semi dry curry like kadai paneer. At least I have never seen paneer kolhapuri gravy in restaurants. However if you want to make paneer kolhapuri gravy just add some water and adjust the gravy consistency.
To make paneer kolhapuri recipe you can use either homemade kolhapuri masala powder or store bought one too. Other than kolhapuri masala powder we need paneer, onion, tomatoes to make this curry. I have not used any other spice powder in this recipe.
Serve paneer kolhapuri hot with roti, naan or rice.
