Paneer tikki recipe with step by step photos. Sharing a very delicious and healthy monsoon snack recipe with paneer. These grilled paneer tikkis were a great hit when I made them last week. The paneer tikkis were grilled on stove top and that is an added advantage here. You do not need an electric grill or oven to make this tasty and healthy grilled paneer tikki recipe. Grilling means very less oil, I made the whole batch with just 3 teaspoons oil.
To make paneer tikki recipe, I have used store bought paneer. Even homemade paneer will work well in this recipe. Apart from paneer potatoes and gram flour is used as binding agent. I had some boiled corn in hand so added that too. You can skip it or add boiled peas instead. The amazing flavor of these grilled paneer tikki comes from mint-ginger-green chili paste. I coarsely pounded all them using mortar and pestle. You can even grind to a fine paste.
Serve paneer tikki with sauce, green chutney or mango pickle.

How to make paneer tikki recipe
1.Boil, peel and mash the potatoes thoroughly. Crumble or grate the paneer well.
2. Pound mint leaves, peeled ginger and green chilies coarsely.
3. Take grated paneer, mashed potatoes and ginger mint paste in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Season with salt.
4. Add 3 tablespoons gram flour to it. Mix and make a dough.
5. Divide the mixture into equal balls. Shape each ball into a tikki. Roll each tikki in bread crumbs or poha crumbs or sooji.
6. Heat a grill pan and add 1 teaspoon oil. Spread the oil well with a brush.
7. Place the shaped cutlets and cook in medium flame till grill marks appear and cutlets turn golden brown. Repeat the same with the whole dough. Add 1-2 teaspoons oil to grease the pan. Serve grilled paneer tikki hot.

1 CUP = 250 ml
Ingredients
- 200 grams paneer grated
- 1 big potato boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup boiled corn kernels
- 3 tablespoons gram flour
- 1/4 cup mint leaves tightly packed
- 3 green chilies
- 1 " ginger peeled
- Salt
- 1-3 teaspoons oil
- Poha crumbs OR bread crumbs OR sooji
