Today I am blogging about one of our favorite easy breakfast recipes,vegetable cheese sandwich recipe.This sandwich is very close to famous Bombay sandwich recipe ,often found on street shops.This recipe takes practically no time expect for slicing the veggies.Very simple to put together,tasty and kid pleaser too. When you crave for an easy and tasty breakfas ,this vegetable cheese sandwich recipe will come to your rescue.You can grill/toast in a sandwich maker if you have one,else just toast on a iron skillet greased with ghee.Serve with any drink of your choice

Here is how to make vegetable cheese sandwich recipe with step by step photos

How to make green chutney:
Grind 1/2 bunch coriander leaves.1/2 bunch mint leaves along with 3 green chillies and small piece of ginger.Grind smooth with minimum water.Add salt and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.Mix well and refrigerate
How to make vegetable cheese sandwich recipe
1.Take one bread slice and apply 1 teaspoon of green chutney and spread well.

2.Arrange the sliced vegetables.Apply chaat powder and keep one cheese sheet.Sprinkle salt and pepper.Take one more bread slice and apply butter on one side.Close the arranged slice with this buttered side.

3.Keep some butter on top and toast from both sides till golden brown.

4.Slice the vegetable cheese sandwich and serve.

  • 8 white/wheat sandwich bread
  • 1 potato boiled,peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 tomato sliced thin
  • 1 cucumber peeled,sliced thin
  • 1 capsicum sliced thin(optional)
  • 4 cheese sheets
  • Salt,pepper,chaat masala
  • Butter to toast
  • 4 teaspoons green chutney
Instructions

Notes
1.You can add beetroot slices,onions etc along with other veggies
