Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoons garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed ginger garlic OR ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • 3 teaspoons oil
  • water
  • coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil in a big pot. Add salt, turmeric powder and cauliflower florets. Let sit for 2-3 minutes.
  • Drain and take the cauliflower florets in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the spice powders, little salt and toss well.
  • Heat a cast iron tava with 3 teaspoons oil.
  • Add the spice coated gobi to the hot tava.
  • Slow roast in low flame until the gobi turns golden with few chars.
  • Serve tava gobi hot with lemon wedges and coriander leaves.
