Ingredients

  • 6 pav buns
  • 12 cucumber slices
  • 12 boiled potato slices
  • 12 to mato slices
  • 12 onion or capsicum slices
  • 2 teaspoons pav bhaji masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons finely mint and coriander leaves
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • To serve
  • Finely chopped onions
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Mix pav bhaji masal powder, garam masala powder, chili powder and salt. Add little water and make a paste.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons butter on a tav. Once the butter melts add masala paste and chopped coriander, mint leaves. Saute well for a minute.
  • Slit each pav bun and place on the hot tava. Toast the pav well for 2-3 minutes.
  • Place 2 of each vegetables slice in a pav. Close and press slightly. Serve pav sandwich with onions and lemon wedges.
