- 6 pav buns
- 12 cucumber slices
- 12 boiled potato slices
- 12 to mato slices
- 12 onion or capsicum slices
- 2 teaspoons pav bhaji masala powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt
- 2 tablespoons finely mint and coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoons butter
- To serve
- Finely chopped onions
- Lemon wedges
Mix pav bhaji masal powder, garam masala powder, chili powder and salt. Add little water and make a paste.
Heat 3 tablespoons butter on a tav. Once the butter melts add masala paste and chopped coriander, mint leaves. Saute well for a minute.
Slit each pav bun and place on the hot tava. Toast the pav well for 2-3 minutes.
Place 2 of each vegetables slice in a pav. Close and press slightly. Serve pav sandwich with onions and lemon wedges.
