Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sabudana pearls/ sago pearls
  • 1 medium potato
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables carrots, capsicum, onion
  • 2-3 tablespoons rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 2 green chilies crushed
  • A small piece of ginger crushed
  • Salt
  • oil

Instructions

  • Soak sabudana/sago pearls in plenty of water of for 6-8 hours.Drain excess water and set aside.
  • Boil and peel the potatoes. Take the drained sago and boiled potato in a mixing bowl. Mash thoroughly.
  • Add all the chopped vegetables, crushed ginger, green chilli, salt and coriander leaves. Add cumin powder, chaat masala powder and mix well. Add 2-3 tablespoons rice flour for binding.
  • Now shape the mixture into equa sized koftas
  • Heat an appe pan and grease each hole with little oil. Place the shaped koftas and cook till golden brown from all sides.
  • Serve sabudana kofta hot.

Notes

1. you can add more veggies as per taste
2. You can use gram flour for binding instead of rice flour
3. You can deep fry if you wish.
