Vegetable masala dosa recipe | How to make restaurant style vegetable masala dosa

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dosa batter
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 baby corn chopped
  • 1/2 cup caulifloer florets
  • 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon pav bhaji/chole masala
  • 1/2 teaspoo garam masala
  • Salt
  • OIl for masala and making dosa

Instructions

  • Chop all the veggies into equal size. Parboil peas and cauliflower florets along with some salt and turmeric powder.
  • Heat a kadai and temper with cumin and green chillies. Add finely chopped onions and saute for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add all the veggies and mix ell. Add sugar and mix well.
  • Add salt,curd,pav bhaji/chole masala,garam masala and mix well.
  • Saute in high flame for 3-5 minutes and switch off the flame.
  • Heat a tava and spread a ladle full of dosa batter and spread it to a thin circle,make it as thin as possible for crisp dosa.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon oil all around the dosa and place 2-3 tablespoons of the veggie filling in the center.
  • Once the corners of the dosa turns crisp,fold the dosa as shown in the picture (no need to flip).
  • Serve vegetable masala dosa hot.

Notes

1. Instead of curd you can add a finely chopped tomato instead of curd.
2. If you make the dosa really thin and wait for the edges to brown,there is no need to flip the dosa.
3. Don't leave cauliflower as it really adds to the taste
