Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • salt
  • water
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 baby corn chopped fine
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs
  • salt
  • Ghee/oil for cooking parathas

Instructions

  • Finely chop the bell pepper, baby corn and grate the cheese. Mix everything together along with salt,paprika/chilli flakes,oregano/mixed herbs.
  • Take one dough ball and roll into a small circle. Now divide the stuffing into 4 equal portion and keep one portion in the middle of the rolled circle.Bring all the edges to the center and form a bag like as shown in the picture.
  • Now roll the pocket gently applying very little pressure into a thick paratha. Apply as much flour as required while rolling.
  • Cook the parathas from both side on a hot tava with oil/ghee.
  • Serve capsicum-cheese paratha hot with raita/pickle

Notes

1. You can add grated paneer along with other ingredients in filling.
2. Vary the seasonings as per your taste.
3. Prepare the filling just before you are about to make parathas else it may turn watery.
4.Do not apply pressure while rolling as it may tear the paratha.
